Data Logger & eBDN

From Meter
to eBDN

How every litre of fuel is measured, recorded, and sealed into a tamper-proof digital document — automatically.

1

Step 1The Source

Coriolis Meters

Coriolis Meters

Emerson Coriolis mass flow meters are fitted directly to the fuel pipes on the bunker tanker. They measure mass flow rate, density, and temperature simultaneously — capturing every litre in real time with no manual entry and no room for human error.

Step 2The Brain

BrightLog

BrightLog

The BrightLog unit, installed onboard the bunker tanker, collects all incoming meter readings and processes them into structured data. It drives the HMI display and manages the full bunkering record — even when connectivity is limited.

Step 3The View

HMI Display

HMI Display

A ruggedised marine-grade touchscreen mounted on the vessel shows the crew and independent surveyor a live view of the fuel transfer — running total, flow rate, density, and temperature — updated in real time throughout the operation.

Step 4The Record

eBDN Generation

eBDN Generation

At the end of each bunkering operation, BrightLog automatically generates a tamper-proof electronic Bunker Delivery Note. Both parties digitally sign the eBDN on the spot — no paper, no disputes, and no alterations possible after signing.

Step 5The Vault

Cloud Archive

Cloud Archive

The completed eBDN is transmitted to Brightree's secure cloud servers and stored permanently. It is accessible from any browser at any time — fully audit-ready and compliant with MPA Singapore's SS 648: 2024 standard.

Step 6The Dashboard

Web Portal

Web Portal

Operators and fleet managers log into Brightree's web portal to view, download, and manage all completed eBDNs. Every record is searchable by date, vessel, and operation — ready for audits, compliance checks, or dispute resolution at any time.
