Marine Vessels Monitoring

The Brightree Remote Platform is specially designed for a fully automated remote monitoring system. It tackles the problem of monitoring system that requires much human intervention for operation and recovery. It is fully self sustaining with robust self recovery mechanism to ensure long term continual unmanned operation.

The Remote Platform consists of two main components.

• - A Remote Device which is located in remote areas to monitor and control sensors and equipment on site.
• - The Nucleus Server which is the heart of the system connecting to all remote Dandelion.

With the availability of the Remote Platform, marine vessel operators are able to monitor and track the position and status of their vessels in real time. Using Brightree Remote Device and sensors on-board, the shore office is able to track key information such as:

• - Fuel level
• - Engine status and fuel consumption
• - Current position, speed and course
• - Historical route
• - Temperature of vessel
• - Conditions of cargo onboard

Alarms can be triggered if any abnormality occurs. Having such a system in place, marine operators can increase efficiency and thus save cost. Safety of the crew and vessels can be assured. When incident occurs, these data can be used as evidence for arbitration or insurance claims. This is also an effective system against theft of fuel and piracy.

Mining Monitoring

Using the Remote Platform, sensors from mining or drilling sites can be collected and transmitted to the head office in real time. With such a auto transmission system, head office is able to tabulate in real time the cost of operations, status of drilling, location of sites and progress of work. With the near instant availability of such information, drilling and mining operations can be much more efficient and cost effective. Environmental issues can be monitored and addressed as well.

For example, knowing when drilling start, the rate of penetration, Weight on bit, pressure and depth of the drill, the head office is able to tabulate the cost of the operation, the rate of drilling etc. Experts at the head office is able to analyze the data and provide real time feedback where necessary. The daily salary of the workers can be calculated on a daily basis as well.

Besides saving cost and increasing efficiency, such as system is able to detect signs of problem much earlier and mishaps avoided. This ensure the safety of the mining operations.
